Primroses

Went to Ariundle for a 'girl's weekend. It was to celebrate a friend's significant birthday (the one where you get a travel card). She has done all the Munros and Corbetts and has about 20 Grahams to do.

We set off to do Beinn Mheadhoin. We got up to the ridge and walked along over a couple of tops and it was very windy. We were almost at the narrow ridge which would take us to the final top when the summit cleared of mist. The wind was very strong and the summit looked icy so decided not to go along the narrow ridge and descended. We were very glad to get out of the wind.

Some of these smaller mountains are as hard work as many Munros especially as there are no paths so it is rough walking.

When we returned to the cars, saw these primroses - another sign that Spring is here.
