Tasted better than it looks!

Got a few bits done this morning then made a start on cooking beef rengdang. Turned out that galangal proved more than a match for the food processor - had to call in the waring blender. Three hours of cooking later and dinner was served. Tasted pretty good and the beef was so tender you could break it up with a fork. Does look a little wrong in this photo though!

Settled down to watch Deep Impact (wouldn't recommend it if you're feeling a bit low) than the weekend was suddenly over - booooo!
