Put a Tiger in Your Tank

I met my ‘Bestie’ of 65 years today. We are 70 this year and have been doing some reminiscing.
I came back from ordering coffee to find her waving a tiger’s tale around. She found it in a drawer. We both had one tied to the handlebars of our bicycles, circa 1964. The Mods at the time (and now) had/have them flying from their scooters.
The young man who brought our coffee was very amused and seemed embarrassed at first to see a 70 year old woman waving this object around. We explained what it was and he went off smiling to himself!
