Riding the Wind

It being a windy, cold day we have mainly inhabited the living room.  Like everyone else we are super conscious about energy use so the heating remains off and the woodburner keeps us snug.  Tony went out briefly to have a troublesome tooth removed on an emergency appointment, which took a bit of securing, another issue we have all become used to. 

I have busy e-mailing left, right and centre ahead of the next issue of our Club newsletter which will be prepared after the International at Easter.  i also managed to fit in some recorder practice.

When I opened the window to get a bird blip, the wind rattled around the bedroom so this was a quick capture of this brave blue tit riding the willow branch and waiting for a lull to jump on to the feeders.  Two small birds were thrown against the window earlier in the day!
