Canada geese

Suddenly there are a couple of Canada geese in the reserve.  I saw them for the second time today.  I am so hoping to follow the little ones as they grow (okay, I'm getting ahead of myself, I don't even know where they'll be nesting).  I've always thought they have the sweetest eyes!

We did have some sun today but it was also cold and windy.  I do wish spring would speed up.  (You notice a theme here - really I just want it to be hot and summery).

Oh goodness, poor Ukraine, can we really not give them planes, which they are still saying is what they most need?  The foulness of it all..
