5th April.

It doesn't seem possible that it is 20 years today since my Mum died.
She hated having her photo taken so the only one I have on show is the one I used on her funeral service sheet. Close to it on my bookcase is the photo I wish she could have been in - my first Graduation in 2007, she would have been so proud. My Aunt came instead and my Sister and Brother in law.
Today I sent some Freesias (Mum’s favourite flowers) to my Sister - she sent me a photo of them and also shared that for the period from 5th-11th April each year (Mum’s birthday was 11th) she always wears Mum’s engagement ring - must be a sister thing - I always wear Mum’s wedding ring but add the eternity ring at this time too.
