Bliss

We spent some delightful time this morning and again in the afternoon at Jackson Bottom Wetlands in Hillsboro - meandering and visiting and just enjoying the day. Dodged a few showers along the way, but nothing that slowed us down. I got to photograph some great birds, and we covered about 3 miles.

I considered posting a bird but quickly decided on this shot of the three of us. Another in Extra. I am so incredibly grateful to be spending this time with my parents!

And, yes, there will be something dark later because Mom and Dad had a dark and delightful care package waiting in my room!
