Completed....!!!

Well this is the Loop Knitting Blanket finished...I think I could probably make these in about 2 hours uninterrupted...
If you can see the edge (above Pearls head)....that is the cast off and gives a beautiful finish by simply just looping one stitch into the next...I really advise all my Blip knitting buddies to give this blanket a go if you can find the wool...!!!
I’m also thinking of keeping this one for myself as it blends well color wise into my color scheme here in the sitting room..!
I will get the grey/white/pink and the grey/ white/ blue mixes and then I’ll be prepared for two different babies....!!!!
Also complete now is Pearls hat with her bobble on ..she still needs her needles and wool. !
She sits here now with me and considers herself an (expert) now on advising me on all knitting/crochet related matters...!
I don’t think I’ll be selling Pearl...

On a more serious note...I’ve spent some of the morning watching the Ukrainian President address our Parliament...a very emotional but well-defined speech, he spoke about ‘Hunger’ now being a weapon of war....how awful and sad is that in 2022...and thankfully our Government is still responding strongly on all fronts particularly in the case of backing Ukraine’s application to join the EU...and hopefully block all Russian connections with Ireland..
A day to be proud of our countries reaction..
Who knows the way things are going when we might need the same aid ourselves...!
