El Rancho

Returning to Albuquerque from Winslow, AZ on the legendary Route 66, we passed through Gallup, NM. In the heart of that city is a hotel that has been serving the public for nearly 100 years...El Rancho. Movie stars for decades have been frequenting this establishment and they have the autographed photos on the wall to prove it. The place is rustic, quaint and filled with more ambiance per square inch than you can find almost anywhere. This photo is a sampling of the lobby.
