Yesterdays' Ice Storm...

...was supposed to be the only "bad" weather for a couple of days, but apparently Mother Nature didn't get the memo. It started to snow during the night, and we woke up to this magical view; just stunning in every direction. By midmorning the sun came out & melted all the snow off the trees and much of the snow off the roads, but there's still a good 2 feet or more of snow on the ground in the woods. I was glad the roads were better, as Jennie and Mae drove up later in the day, getting here about 9pm.
