Time for a change.

I wish I had taken before and after photographs of the rings which contained some of these gemstones before I removed them to re-model into this ring which I will deliver this evening.
The 3 Amethysts (purple) were in a very simple silver ring, side by side. The Garnet (dark red) was the centre of a flower in another very simple silver ring. The diamond was the central stone in another silver ring with an emerald either side. My client gave me all three rings and asked me to combine the stones into a new ring for her, she gave me a few pointers to the sort of designs she liked and left the rest to me.
I know how much she loves Opals as she already has two of my rings with Opals set in them. I just felt this lovely Opal from my stock was the perfect centrepiece to make this a real stand-out ring and my client agreed, I think she is going to really enjoy wearing this!
She is a very talented Ceramic artist herself and it is lovely to be able to support each other in our work. I treated myself to a beautiful tea cup from her recently which I will make the subject of a future Blip.
