Grey Heron

The young one flew over and landed beside me today. Unfortunately a thoughtless dog owner with a Whippet came into the park and just released her dog. It absolutely flew at the young one who took off and landed on the top of the Dovecote. It is really the most stressed I have seen her looking. When the idiot and her dog passed by the young one flew down and got her fish. She seemed much more relaxed and was the same this afternoon. The extra is a shot of her looking more herself. I have emailed the council asking them if they could put up signs at the entrance asking owners to keep their dogs on a lead until they reach the loch path or top of the slope. We will see if they do anything.
