Flower skirt

Sixteen double sided petals sewn into an elasticated waist band.  Fun to make, though I did get a bit bored of the cutting out.  I was able to use up some smaller remnants of material.  Here it is being modelled by a pan on a stool, and doesn't show to its full potential!  Hopefully in a few weeks time I will be able to show it being modelled by one of my grandsons.

Not a great deal else to report for today - W did go through a couple of the kitchen drawers and put to one side several items for the charity shop.  And he got caught in a very sharp shower bringing more stuff up  from the workshop to go into the bin this afternoon, ready for collection tomorrow.
