After the rain

This afternoon I popped into Kingston with Lucy to have a wander around but also to have a belated birthday lunch. We went to Comptoir Libanese and shared a wonderful meze of 3 different dips, flat breads, falafels, cheese parcels, salad and pickles. We then had a wrap each. I had lamb kofta and Lucy had chicken . However, we both said it was so so.  Another quick wander around before heading home.  We were very lucky that two incredibly heavy downpours happened whilst we were inside, one being the restaurant.  Mr C said one was accompanied with thunder and lightning. There was certainly a lot of surface water on the roads coming home.
