March Stone Alpha

I’ve previously blipped about the Aberdeen March stones delineating the old city boundary.
This morning I cycled a circuit of the southerly stones (those that I could find). Some are in back gardens and out of reach but most I could find. This is March Stone Alpha on the river Dee. It’s a fairly recent stone dating from the 19thC.
