Dinner

We’re having salad and cheese scones this evening. D is trying out the book of scone recipes I bought for him.
I spent most of the day working on a refugee centre craft project. It’s fun but time consuming, the sort of thing that would be relaxing if I didn’t have a deadline. Daughter was supposed to visit and maybe help out but she wasn’t well. She’s still tired from Covid and is trying to rest up for her choir concert.
D and I went for a neighbourhood stroll, enjoying all the flowering trees and birdsong. Flashback to the first lockdown, when we discovered this particular route.
