Stop off for lunch

We had two nights in Akaroa. John managed to get the lawns mowed. Nothing esle was done as it was too wet. 

Last night we had a electrical storm which seem to last for hours. It sure lit the place up at times and the thunder seem to shake the place. Never seen anything like that before in Akaroa. We didn't have any heavy rain until the early hours of the morning. That was when the wind became gale force.

This morning we woke to sunshine. Around mid morning more black clouds appeared and we got a few heavy showers. It was really cold. I am sure there was some snow on the hill tops.
