Stanley's Sunflower

A couple of weeks back, mini neighbour Stanley potted up some sunflower seeds and sold them in aid of Ukraine.  He raised £63 which was match funded by his Dad's company, well done Stanley.

Our street WhatsApp group has been alive with photos of flourishing sunflowers and something of a competition between neighbours has now begun, but our sunflower obstinately refused to appear.  Stanley's Dad did wonder if some pots had missed being given seeds in that brief period when Stanley was unsupervised....however this morning, having spent a few days in the propagator, our sunflower has appeared, woo hoo!
