Dunedin Beaches

Taken from Lawyers Head looking back to St.Clair and beyond. This is a view that has been denied to local residence for over two years. Initially due to a new sewage outfall being built and then to stop boy racers, general hoons and those who want to suicide off the cliffs from creating havoc. Now, after much debate and many meetings, we are able to access the drive along the sea front to a car-park and viewing platform on Lawyers Head Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm.

Today Mother and I enjoyed our coffee up there. John D and Maggie D know this sweep of beaches very well and every time I look I see - in my minds eye - their footprints embedded in the sand.
