Arrivederci

pronounced əriːvəˈdɛːtʃi is the greeting italians use when they say goodbye, when they are convinced they will meet again with those with whom they are parting. It literally means "till we meet again". And that is what I think will happen, sooner or later, with me and blipfoto. After thinking about it for a month I have decided that now that the subscription has come to an end I am not going to renew it, but know inside myself that only time can tell how long before I don't resist anymore and come back (open for bets)!
This has been a terrific year (in a absolutely magnificent POSITIVE meaning of the word), I have seen so many great photos, got to know great photographers and learnt a bunch of things about almost anything..even about myself! Thanks to all of you for expanding my XSworld and allowing me to be part of your world through your photos and journal entries. I will miss you. Blip has started a flow of photographing and writing that I don't think I'll stop even if I don't blip, I'll just have to look for other forms of communication..whatever I do I'll continue to be stuck in some kind of a rut!

Oh, and if you are travelling to Bergamo look up the only icelandic person that lives there that is not a football player for the local big team Atalanta, parent of a footballplayer of the local big team Atalanta or a Ryan Air Pilot. That is me!
