Floods!!

I know I have mentioned Bird Park nature reserve before, but now they have installed depth gauges in the ‘flood retention zones’.
I hope you can spot the deliberate mistake here, dry stone walls don’t really hold back much water….. certainly not one metre depth. It would have to be some biblical flood to fill that up!
I really wonder who got conned into paying for this farcical scheme and causing so much damage to what was a good little wildlife site. And I’m afraid Cumbria Wildlife Trust are at the heart of it. Hmm.
