Penultimate day of term here. A double session with our local two as their morning pre-school care has succumbed to the inevitable Covid. We are not complaining as their company is always highly entertaining!

The high wind today was a surprise. It wrought unwelcome damage to our garden daffodils and gave our fences a good old shoogle too.

I got some home admin completed this morning and rested before the school walk in preparation for a voluntary night shift in the wee small hours.

In our excitement to meet the boys we both thought each other had the key. Only when the door clunked shut behind us did we discover the truth! We found a solution fairly quickly but realised that grandparents also need their Easter holidays!
