Steamy compost

A sunnier day than expected. S and I went down to the garden where Cannon and F were picking out the final roots and stones from the potato plot. It’s too wet to plant them yet but hopefully by the end of the week. I picked through about 20 pots of strawberries to remove the dead stems and leaves. Blip is of the compost being turned, it was pretty hot in the middle. S went to mums for a few hours again this afternoon and I worked and prepped for my outdoor playgroup tomorrow. This evening we went out for a walk about the garden to look at all the rhododendron coming out and found a hare skull, suspect an eagle had it. This evening I went to visit my auntie and uncle in the village for an hour, nice to catch up.
