It's good to be back home , and to have a walk round the reservoir before dark with J.
I have had a lovely day catching up with my friend over lunch in Epicures , doing a wee bit of shopping and just pottering around. P is moving to Jersey to be near her family , and its lovely to see things working out well for her.
She is a beautiful, brave and inspiring person who is not feeling limited in her options as she gets older and that is lovely to see.
We have shared at lot of life - high school, the years in Kintyre when our children were young, and these last 5 years she has lived here in the village.
Mixed feelings , but sharing in the excitement of her new plans.
