Village life

There's plenty going on in the village hall for people to enjoy if they want to. There are many that come in from the surrounding villages to socialise; we are certainly a sociable community! As well as the one off events it is used as a regular meeting place for people. Our sewing group meets there fortnightly too. Also, a local lady facilitates a day a week where local 'working from home' people can come and work for the day if they chose to. It gives them a day a week where they are can be less isolated and can enjoy a coffee break/lunch break with others, or just simply work amongst others. It's good to see the hall being used and not just standing empty looking forlorn! It's a happy place and always warm and inviting.
