Needs Some Work

A childminding day today - so off to Doncaster we went. We took a ‘picnic’ lunch with us - and we ended up taking the granddaughters to Wentworth Woodhouse. Half price admission for NT members and free children - so it only cost £6 to get in!! We wandered around following an activity trail of QR codes which the girls enjoyed scanning with our phones and then learning a little bit about people that used to live and work on the estate.

Pleasant sunshine all day - but a but of a chilly breeze. We did find a sheltered spot to eat our lunch…again the girls enjoyed that. A visit to the tearooms for a pick-me-up to end the trip! While we were waiting I spotted this ‘well weathered’ window
