Crawling From the Wreckage...

Eventful afternoon today, during dog walk time. 
A chap decided to try a rather crazy overtaking manoeuvre as I turned in to our usual spot. He took half my frontage and front wheel clean off (that's it on the right of the pic), and ended up through that fence and 30 yards into the field. All present (humans and dogs) were unscathed, if a bit shaky. 
On the upside his insurance have been in touch, accepted full liability, and a replacement car at their expense arrives tomorrow. 
I doubt I'll see my trusty ecoDeisel on the road again, bound to be a write off. :( Have just had the timing belt replaced, new tyres all round, and a full service. What. A. Bummer. 
Still, we are all living and breathing, to face another day. :)
