Bliptripping
After a longish day of organising and whatnot, I decided I'd go for a little bliptrip which was supposed to provide a welcome bit of quality 'me' time. However, during the entire twenty minutes of shooting (it's getting a bit hot (high twenties just now) for anything lengthier), two Indian gentlemen stared at me the whole time. At one point I audibly voiced 'fuck off' to them only to receive a smile and a wave back. What they found so fascinating about me I don't know.
It was, I suppose, somewhat hypocritical of me then so sit and do exactly the same thing to this butterfly. I asked permission, but I got nothing back. I offered it my blipcard, but still nothing. It stayed put for ages however, almost as if it was aware I was struggling again with the manual focus and taking pity on me. When you're this close, the slightest movement can throw the whole subject out of focus, whether it be the swaying of the grass or just the movement of your body whilst you breathe.
I got lucky though.
