Garden Work - Day 1 - Dig

Today the digging started. By the end of the day 9 tonnes of earth had been removed and there was still some to go. It is a hard job, particularly as it all has to go out through the house. Thankfully I am not doing this, we have a team into do it. They have worked hard to get to this point. Half way through the day Wife heard one of the team exhaustedly say "When I first saw this today I had had enough of it".

ALready we can feel the difference. Suddenly we are not two feet higher than the neighbours, giving both them and us a little bit more privacy. Its looking bigger too.
