Chicago to Springfield

Set off at 8am to load baggage, and us, to go to Eagle Riders to pick up the bikes.
Away from Chicago at 10 and stopped after an hour where I was met by my Sister in Law Mikki and her husband, Paddy. They came out to bring me a camera I can use, just need to find a mount and SD cards. That was so good of them, and hugely appreciated. Paddy, as he is known over here, was taking drone footage of us and Mikki filmed us arriving.
Terrible riding weather, wet, very cold and a strong cross wind the whole way. We all arrived, after over 200 miles with stops for photos, shivering no matter what we were wearing. Tour guide said it is the worst he's known it in the years he's been doing these tours.
Better weather for Saturday by the look of it.
