Back to Menaggio

I had a marvellous week here on Lake Como in 2018. A friend and I had booked to return in 2020, but you know what got in the way. Two postponements later, it is really happening.

I was apprehensive since we were flying from Heathrow at the crack of Dawn (well slightly before). The media had warnings of desperate long queues but we had a few niggles but nothing as forecast.

We arrived at the lovely second airport of Milan, Linate, and it was blue sky, snow capped Alps, and magnificent scenery.

So far it’s just as wonderful as I remember.
