A gorgeous little foal

We had one of our favourite local walks this morning, to the Rising Sun Country Park. It's rare that I don't come back with a blip when we go there, and today we were treated to the sight of this cute little foal at the little farm. Even its Mum only stands about 4 feet tall so you can tell how small it is - and the cheeky thing even stuck out its tongue as I pressed the shutter!

I can't resist adding a close-up of the foal having a little snack to show its lovely features well.

Naturally we stopped at the cafe too for a coffee, and - confession - I gave in to the temptation of a cream scone :-))
