Nearly summer!?

Katie went to bed at 4.30 last night. She woke a couple of times just to snuggle further up mainly. She'd fallen asleep in her clothes, so was stripped to her underwear, then protested when I'd tried to put jammies on. In the middle of the night she wanted them on. I fell back to sleep it seems as next thing I remember she had taken them off again! She didnt properly wake until 6am. I will happily settle for that!

She had a bath with me almost as soon as we got up. She was itching to get dressed as she had decided to wear one of her new dresses that we bought on Saturday (its a Jelly & Pug and I love it on her!). It matches perfectly with a headband we bought from blip's very own Mrs Pink. I said she could ride her balance bike to nursery. It's very soon to be retired for a bigger balance bike and a proper pedals bike. I've just been waiting for nicer weather and an excuse to give her them! She was really rather nippy on the bike still. The first couple of streets the sun was blazing and was actually quite warm. Round one particular corner though the wind picked up and she finally agreed to put on the cardigan that I had taken for her!

I took a beautiful, perhaps more artistic photo of her zooming away, with beautiful curls and a great shadow. But her cheeky face won.
