Salthouse

This afternoon we did a new (to us) walk, parking on Salthouse Heath and walking down across fields almost to the coast road, on to Salthouse village and back up to the car.  Just under three and a half miles but with a drop of 216 feet to the coast which, of course, means a subsequent climb back up again.  Salthouse has a village pub which would make a very handy stopping point just over half way round but we resisted the temptation today.

Walking down through the fields I spotted this scene which rather reminded me of an image we're seeing a lot of at the moment.
