Taking on water at Welshpool

Another great day out! We boarded the Welshpool to Llanfair Light Railway at Llanfair Caereinion and traveled the 50 minute journey to Welshpool where we spent the day before getting the last train back. The boys enjoyed finding the dragons in shop windows. We picnicked beside the canal watching narrowboats negotiating a lock. The boys were delighted to be invited to push one of the gates open. Later, of course, we found a play park!
