The Walking Group

A beautiful day for walking and 20 people turned up.  It was a city walk today but catching all the green spaces that we have so many of in Edinburgh.  The walk included The Waters of Leith, The Gallery of Modern Art,  The Dean Cemetery,  The Botanics, Inverleith Park and the Leith to Haymarket cycle way to take us back to the city centre.  It was all good,  and was about 22000 steps or just over 10 miles.
Later on I rustled up a good curry and went for another local walk.  A film is on the agenda now.
We saw a Dipper and a pair of Tree Creepers.  The Botanics have a very good new exhibition about Rhododendrons.
