Wet again

Lovely morning when we walked down for a paper and croissant. Had a drive out in TVR with hood down, sun shining and a little chilly. Sat and had a coffee in a pretty village, coffee was dreadful but nice sat watching bird activity and villagers coming and going. Did the ironing while watching another episode of 24, really isn’t working for me as it is taking too long to get to the end.
Took Hetty out for a walk and thought I would drop some chocolates over to daughters. Lovely in the park with lots of kids playing. Then it went dark and it absolutely poured down. We were both very wet when we got home.
Daughters partner managed to get a flight this morning but didn’t get back home until late afternoon.
Packed and ready to head north in the morning.
