A long day of flying but I’m now back on the east coast. Hubs and I had barely gotten into the car when the skies opened and a torrential rain shower started. Fortunately it didn’t last long and the rest of our 50 mile drive was uneventful. A run through McDonalds to pick up something to eat and then home where I was greeted by one very excited brindle pup.

It’s been such a good week and saying goodbye to mom and dad at the airport this morning was hard. But I will plan another trip soon. It’s difficult being so far away.

Going to have a piece of dark with sea salt…
