After the Storm 2

Today I walked around the area of the Kranichwoog to check on the damage from the snowstorm Friday night.

It did not look good. The main photo and the first extra give an idea of the damage on the edges of the woods, the second extra shows one of the little paths crossing the wood (the ones I prefer). They all looked like this.

I saw mostly pine trees damaged here; the heavy wet snowload was too much for many crowns and branches. The forest floor looked green from broken branches where there shouldn't be any green yet. It was a sad sight (and a very careful walk around the mess).
