Giverny

I’ve always hankered after a visit to Monet’s garden and was utterly delighted to get to visit on my birthday. It was an ideal stopping point on our journey from East Paris to the Normandy coast.

A magical birthday but in hindsight I’m glad it was an outdoor visit as I felt more and more unwell throughout the day. Of course it’s the dreaded virus!
