Wanderings and meanders

Blackbird with cherry blossom

Hopetoun Crescent Garden, Edinburgh

Nice sunny spells for an easy Sunday morning, even if it did become grey as the day wore on.

The Garden here is the remains of what was once Edinburgh's Botanic Gardens.  Most of the site has been built upon and the Botanic Cottage was relocated from nearby Leith Walk down to the current Botanic Gardens; but there is still a slither of the gardens that were once here, complete with some fantastic trees.

It's been a while since I've been into these gardens and there's evidence of some hard work underway.  http://www.hopetouncrescentgarden.org.uk/
