Refuelling

80k into my 100k ride I made a quick pit stop, The cold air had used up more calories than usual and a warm milky drink was the perfect solution for the headwind ride home.
Cousin B visited and roasted the duck which I had bought for a fiver yesterday, delicious it was too. It was lovely to see a. delighted auntie who really enjoyed it and is still dining out on yesterday’s Verdi Requiem.
