Sunny Corner

Despite the hangover, I made it to Truro bang on time to help Mike bring his boat down the river. We followed 2 boats with slightly deeper draughts - the first did briefly run aground as we approached Sunny Corner. We kept at least 0.9m below all the way - unlike last time!

Once safely in deep water I was left to helm all the way, including picking up the mooring. I think I even heard Mike use the word ‘perfect’ TWICE on my second attempt

This evening was the birthday pavlova and a message from another Scout leader with a ‘save the date’ for her wedding! Happy days :-D
