Getting eggs

We made it! Journey was fine, stopped at the 'posh' services on the way, which was only an hour from the end of the journey. Left just before 10am, arrived around 2.30 ish..  We went off over the fields to visit a farm and buy eggs, a perfect length walk for little legs to get just tired out enough. Back to my sisters for dinner and outdoor fire with hot chocolate and beautiful views of the pennines. 

Today I'm grateful for:
A good journey, despite the 'are we there yet before we had got to the end of our road
The delight at seeing their Aunt and Uncle
Evening fire and hot chocolate
