House Of Mirrors

I had my long lens on because I had seen a great white egret earlier on. Apparently they are not very common and I've only seen grey herons until now. The egret was too far away to get a decent shot.

The waves on the lake had quite a swell. I zoomed in close and kept the shutter speed high to freeze the action, trying to take advantage of the patterns of light and shade. The effects I could achieve depended on which direction I faced, how close I zoomed in and shutter speed. The sun was bright and blue skies were overhead. Although I got plenty of shots, not all were as interesting.

I thought this one looked like the House of Mirrors at the fair.
