New for Spring
Although today started with frost and 25ºF (-4º C) things have warmed a bit. The crocus are blooming. Not so for the daffodils; still no flowers. The Siberian Scilla in beautiful blues are open. By my blip record over the past few years this spring is about 3 or 4 weeks behind the usual.
Nonetheless, this charming crocus, painted by Nature and sitting on my knee is such a welcome. No bees have come out to find their pollen yet.
Thanks to the Gypsy moth egg identifiers. I do not think I will be able to capture the broken nests after two days of rain and sleet. Grrr...
