Back in the early days....

The Alta ski area has a great relaxed feel to it, somehow less commercial and pressured than many of the other big resorts (as long as one doesn't dwell on the prices too much!). The lodge has lots of old photos of the history and the early days of skiing in the area. And the other nice thing is that it is skiers only, no snowboarders allowed !!
