A burl round the MERL

The MERL - the Museum of Rural English Life - runs a great Twitter account, which was a lot of fun during the lockdowns.

We were in Reading and I was looking at the map and said oh it's there! So I took myself there for a visit on Sunday and it was great. Really friendly, nice place, and lots of reminders of how REALLY into animals and farms I was as a small child!
