Church View, Charlbury

We went out for a walk on a lovely spring afternoon, and paused on a comfortable bench with this lovely view. of St. Mary the Virgin Church in Charlbury, Oxon., parts of which date from the 12th century.  We were visiting our friends Alice and Frank, who live in this delightful Cotswold town (NW of London--about 90 minutes on the train).  Marylee has known Alice since 1967, when they were together at Somerville College, Oxford.
