Plum Blossom

I spent the morning sorting out more stuff in the conservatory and rearranging some kitchen cupboards; there is still much to do.

I rang the council about collecting the old fridge and freezer; £35 to collect both. The earliest date they had available was June 10! No wonder folk just take things somewhere and dump them. I went online to the “ao” site and booked a collection for four days time. They could have collected them tomorrow, but the only day this week that is convenient, when we do not have other appointments, is Friday. Their charge is £40, but they will collect them from inside your home; the council want them out by the side of the road.

Mush of the afternoon was spent at the U3A photography meeting this afternoon. Once home I took today’s picture, which is of some plum blossom on one of our younger trees.
